How it works. Each round one player is the Smuggler, the other the
Inspector — roles swap every round. The smuggler secretly seals a case with
an amount 0–10 (0 = an empty decoy). The inspector, without seeing it, either
Passes or Doubts with a guess N.
• Pass → smuggler banks the full amount.
• Doubt an empty case → smuggler banks N ÷ 2 (you baited the penalty).
• Doubt a real load with N ≥ amount → caught, smuggler banks 0.
• Doubt a real load with N < amount → it slips, smuggler banks the amount.
Higher cumulative bank wins.
• Pass → smuggler banks the full amount.
• Doubt an empty case → smuggler banks N ÷ 2 (you baited the penalty).
• Doubt a real load with N ≥ amount → caught, smuggler banks 0.
• Doubt a real load with N < amount → it slips, smuggler banks the amount.
